Cooking the Serbian way, u pičku materinu!
November 21, 2009
Recently, I’ve been very much hilariously entertained by a video-blogger Danny G. that calls his show “The Gradual Report”, especially by “lessons on Serbian”. I think 90% of all Serbs with a sense of humor have seen it and laughed their asses off. After watching the latest “Serbian Lesson” I’ve been inspired to make an illustration as a gift to Danny, and the whole Gradual Report community that is quickly growing in numbers here in Serbia, and surrounding almost-the-same-language countries.
I’m not a painter, I suck at painting and don’t own a tablet/too lazy for mouse painting. If someone wants to paint this, please let me know so I can send you the 300dpi version.

Poodle Sketches – Snow Diversion Poodel
November 12, 2009
Hello, your favorite poodle, Poodel, is back in a new sketch which will hopefully grow into a full-fledged illustration. I draw my sketches in a good quality, as they’re a basis for inking the entire drawing. I will move the signature, heading and Poodel’s thought bubble to another place, to avoid a compositional fail.
I’ve been very sketchy these days, so new sketches and illustrations are coming soon. Have fun!
I see dead Poodel!
November 6, 2009
Again, I’m randomly changing subjects. Here we see Poodl pretending to be dead just for the fun of it
Inspiration for this came from a local horror-punk band called Drop Dead, and I’ll dedicate this to them, even though I never went to their gig…lol
Since I don’t have a tablet anymore, I had to return it to my friend, I’ll continue making black&white stuff until I die, or learn painting ^^ .
More sketches!
October 29, 2009
I’ve been a little busy with drawing these days. I bought some traditional drawing tools I haven’t touched in years, and I spend time trying to get re-aquainted with them. Not a big deal, I just bought a drawing pen/stylos and several watercolor pencils(since all art stores in the city are out of 24 pencils packs). Since way back, I’ve been inking my drawings with liners, cd-markers and similar sloppy-free tools, and drawing with a stylos is pretty different. Sometimes it is really hard, I feel like I’m back in art school, making my first steps in drawing and painting. I actualy really don’t know how to paint, and never painted seriously. Watercolor pencils are a good way to start, I guess. Go, Zile, go!
Here are two drawings I made yesterday, I really like sharing this stuff. In the first one, main character is Baby Poodle, and on the second one it’s already galacticaly famous Angry Little Chicken wielding a chicken-size halberd

Time for sketches!
October 24, 2009
Hello, I wanted to share a little something with those few people that will maybe read this blog a little more regularly. I am in a sketchy mood, and there are a few new sketches I haven’t shown to anyone. These are pencil sketches, and hopefully won’t stay like that for a very long time. Here they are, I hope you like them. Drop a comment if you do! Any feedback is appreciated!
Vampoodle
August 3, 2009
Meet Vampoodle, the idiot of the night! It’s a special kind of dog/vampire that feeds on ketchup, as it’s sensitive to blood. Beware, vampoodle stalks you in the night! Possibly to steal your ketchup…
Fifth illustration in the What The Poodle series, done in Inkscape.

Merpoodle
August 1, 2009
Say Hello to Merpoodl, the idiot of the deep blue sea! This is the third drawing in the What The Poodle series, and my favorite. It was drawn as a gift to my dearest friend.
Inkscape proved to be a great piece of software, as I did not have ANY sketches or referrence images…I just vectorized my thoughts, a process that would be really hard in Illustrator, with it’s clumsy tools. I’ll end up as a lobbyist for Inkscape, haha.
